來自 HTC 美國官方帳號消息，隨著 10 月 20 日會有第一款搭載 Android 6.0 的新款手機亮相，還列出將率先更新 Android 6.0 的機種（2015 年底前推出）：
而 Desire 826、Desire 820、Desire 816 也確定在更新名單之中。接來幾周 HTC 會陸續更新哪些裝置能上 Android 6.0。
